Giving oil a real attempt. Simple Art Tips recommends painting from life for the 20 Day Self Portrait Challenge but I find it really hard to get a good mirror and lighting set up and also for me I want to try to explore different mediums, angles and techniques through this personal challenge so this was from a photo. Far from perfect, I was pleased with my effort. Skin tones and values are a real challenge, more work ahead.
